Our aspire hoodie was our first and original design.
 
Aspire was created for our dreamers , a reminder to reach and hold onto your greatest and deepest desires. 
 
Destined for greatness

My strength is not that of my own but that of a collective.
 
This whakatauki has really stuck by me and I often interperate it in its different layers. The whakaaro behind using it in this particular context on kakahu was the conious reminder of our tupuna's dreams and aspiration and how I often felt alone on my journey. This was a reminder that I was never alone, that my 'collective' was a long line of strong willed, determined tangata. A reminder to pursure our dreams for the future generations to come.
